A country boy, Geum-bok, comes to Seoul dreaming of becoming an actor. After falling victim to a rental scam, he starts a bizarre cohabitation with Bi-hyeong, the Dokkaebi king, who suffers from the inability to absorb life energy. Adding to the mix are Gil-dal, Bi-hyeong’s loyal bodyguard, and Ji-gwi, the fox spirit who had a crush on Gil-dal a thousand years ago. Caught in the obsession and misunderstandings of these three supernatural beings, Geum-bok becomes the target of the ghosts.
