Robber x Lover

The returning student 'Ji-ho' missed the dorm application period due to a moment of laziness and is now struggling with a long commute. However, by a stroke of luck, he finds a place to rent near the school with the help of a senior, 'Seong-yeon,' and he is so taken by the great conditions that he moves in without any suspicion. The place is surprisingly spacious for a studio, equipped as if someone was expected to move in. Ji-ho feels a bit uneasy, but reassured by Seong-yeon's guarantee that there are no issues, he unpacks his belongings. Completely unaware of the turmoil that lies ahead, he happily goes out to buy groceries for dinner, pleased with how well everything has turned out.

EP.01

Jihyo, who was peacefully shopping, heads home but suddenly discovers a torn bag due to the worsening weather. Just as he is about to go back out to retrieve his belongings, he is attacked by a mysterious man and, in a bid to survive, he escapes into a storage room connected to the balcony to hide. As he drifts off to sleep, he thinks, "It will be okay by morning..." When he wakes up in a daze the next morning and cautiously re-enters the house, he finds that the man has not left and is still inside. Jihyo is startled, but the man is only looking at a notebook... As Jihyo examines the man again in confusion, he sees that the man is crying while reading a story Jihyo wrote.

EP.02

Leaving the crying man behind, Jiho tries to find his cell phone, but it's in the man's hand. The man asks a puzzled Ji-ho about the notebook, and when he realizes it's a novel, he gets excited and demands that Ji-ho write the next part. Ji-ho sharply refuses, saying that she can't afford it and won't write anymore, but the man refuses to give up and gets into a fight with Ji-ho. In the process, Ji-ho realizes that she has mistaken the man for a robber, but the man doesn't stop at clearing up the misunderstanding; he offers to move in with her to help her make a comfortable living, as long as she continues writing the novel.

EP.03

Jiho is embarrassed by an outrageous proposal. After an argument with a man, she realizes she's late for class, so she leaves for school, leaving the man out of the house. At that point, Hyun-ui is frustrated with Jiho, who hasn't shown up on time and can't be reached. But soon, Ji-ho enters the classroom, and not wanting to hear him yell at her, Ji-ho gives Hyun-i a lame excuse as to why she's late. When Jiho returns home after school, the man she sent out in the morning is waiting for her, crouched outside her door. It's cold outside, so she lets him in, but the man suddenly approaches her, wanting to prove he's trustworthy. With the questionable words, "I'm going to try to seduce you properly."

EP.04

"Are you trying to seduce me??" Ji-ho falls into all sorts of misunderstandings due to the man's bombshell statement as he enters the house. However, that statement actually meant he would cook delicious meals for her. Caught up in the man's charm, the dishes she tries are... surprisingly tasty. While having dinner, Ji-ho asks about the man's situation, and he shares the story of how he lost his place to live and why he can't find a new home right away. Ji-ho's heart wavers at his unfortunate circumstances. Eventually, she agrees to his proposal to live together, and upon learning that he is younger than her, she imposes a ban on using informal speech, earning him the title of "teacher." Thus, Ji-ho begins her cohabitation with a "robber."

EP.05

A week into their sudden move in together, Ji-ho learns that the man's name is Kang-jin, and she enjoys the comfort of having Do-jin take care of all the household chores. However, she has one major problem: he keeps invading her sleeping quarters without her knowledge! No matter what she tries, Ji-ho wakes up in Do-jin's living room in the morning, and she tells herself that this wouldn't have happened if she had lived alone.
Lunch with Hyun-eui. When they meet at a restaurant, Hyun-ui suspects something is up when she sees Ji-ho's face suddenly looking better, but Ji-ho somehow manages to play it off. Jiho tries to bring up the subject of his sleeping habits with Do-jin, but Do-jin cuts him off by saying that he's starting the early morning shift, and Jiho decides to put the matter to rest, knowing that they won't be seeing each other for a while.

EP.06

On his way to school, Ji-ho runs into Hyun-woo and nearly blurts out that they're living together, but is saved by Sung-yeon's arrival. After finishing his assignment, Ji-ho returns home and falls asleep waiting for Do-jin, only to wake up to a call from the police station. There, he sees Do-jin. After solving the problem, they head back. Ji-ho scolds Do-jin and realizes there's been a misunderstanding, and he explains that he's been keeping Do-jin away because of his sleeping habits. Do-jin cries, saying she thought he was uncomfortable with her. Ji-ho looks at Do-jin and realizes that he's going to grow closer to this child in the future.

EP.07

Ji-ho and Do-jin decide to have a drink for a heart-to-heart. As Ji-ho is trying to figure out what to say, Do-jin brings up Ji-ho's sleeping habits. Ji-ho is taken aback by the heavy question, which he'd hoped would start the conversation off lightly, but when Do-jin assures him that it doesn't matter to him, a relieved Ji-ho toasts with Do-jin. Ji-ho gets drunk before Do-jin does, and Do-jin thinks it's cute, but decides he'll have to refrain from drinking in the future. Do-jin, who realizes the real reason why Ji-ho comes to his side in his sleep, finds it cute and laughs.

EP.08

Realizing that they haven't signed a lease, Ji-ho and Do-jin make a hasty appointment to visit the real estate agency. While signing the contract with the landlord's agent, Ji-ho is grateful to be living in a house with such good conditions and asks what the landlord is like, but the agent pretends to take a phone call and leaves in a hurry to avoid answering. Later, the two learn from the real estate agent that the house they're living in was built by the owner for his beloved, and he's confused as to whether Sung-yeon introduced him to the house because she likes him.

EP.09

Ji-ho is starting to get worried about Sung-yeon, so he asks Hyun-i if she's close to him, but Hyun-i angrily denies it. Meanwhile, Sung-yeon approaches him and sits next to him, and Ji-ho takes advantage of the opportunity to talk to him by asking him out to dinner. Do-jin, worried that Ji-ho might make a mistake, sneaks up behind him and watches breathlessly, cheering him on.

EP.10

The meal is at a dakgalbi restaurant. Do-jin, who's been watching the situation from nearby, follows Jiho into the restaurant and takes a seat nearby. Secretly watching the situation, Do-jin comes to the conclusion that Sung-yeon is using Jiho to get closer to Hyun-ui. However, Ji-ho is unaware and becomes increasingly confused as the conversation continues.

EP.11

Ji-ho is alone with Sung-yeon for the big talk. Anxious before the conversation, Ji-ho heads to the restroom for a moment, and a sharp-eyed Do-jin follows him to prevent him from making a mistake. Surprised by his appearance, Do-jin covers Ji-ho's mouth and advises him not to ask Sung-yeon anything for now. Just then, Hyun-woo arrives to retrieve his cell phone and witnesses the situation, but the two have a nice (?) acting moment. Ji-ho and Sung-yeon are alone again. Jiho stumbles over his words, and Sung-yeon takes the opportunity to reveal that she likes Hyun-u, and asks Jiho to help her get closer to him.

EP.12

On his way home, Ji-ho spots Cha-hee, the cafe manager downstairs. He asks Cha-hee to encourage Do-jin to work at the cafe, but a loud noise upstairs sends Ji-ho running home in alarm. He quickly opens the front door and finds Do-jin and Hyun-ui, who has mistaken Do-jin for a robber, in the middle of a confrontation.

EP.13

A panicked Ji-ho locks an excited Hyun-i in the bathroom and talks to Do-jin alone, getting lost in their own world. Suddenly, they're awakened by Hyun-i's screams and prepare drinks and snacks to calm him down. Sitting across from each other at the bar, Do-jin and Jiho clear up any misunderstandings as they talk about how they came to live together. Meanwhile, Hyun-ui begins to notice a subtle undercurrent between them.

EP.14

Ji-ho tells Do-jin that the manager of the cafe downstairs has asked him if he'd like a part-time job. Do-jin, who's been hesitant about the idea of a service job, goes for an interview at Ji-ho's suggestion. Ji-ho tries to talk him out of it, but when the manager tells him outright that he's being hired for his face, Do-jin accepts the offer.

EP.15

After waking up from a dream about his first love, Ji-ho sneaks into the cafe when he realizes it's Do-jin's first day on the job. When Do-jin spots him, he offers him his first cup of coffee. Ji-ho decides this is enough and goes to the grocery store where Do-jin works and tries to follow him, but is quickly spotted. Ji-ho confesses that he followed Do-jin because he wanted to get to know him better, and Do-jin, flushed with embarrassment, asks to continue their conversation, and then hurriedly prepares to leave.

However, when he spots Ji-ho, a high school student who is also studying at the amusement park, Do-jin sits in front of him and covers his face with a notebook to escape his friends, pretending to be part of the group. Do-jin reads the novel in the notebook and criticizes it as... ridiculously boring.

EP.19

High school student Jiho receives feedback on her novel, starting with a harsh review from middle school student Dojin. Ji-ho senses that Do-jin's mature demeanor belies a deep-seated hurt. He takes Do-jin out for a ride and spends time with him, and Do-jin opens up to him. During their conversation, Do-jin realizes that Jiho is the author of the novel he read. Do-jin wants to keep in touch with him and hesitates to ask for his number, but then goes into the restroom. In the meantime, Ji-ho leaves his number in a balloon, but Do-jin loses the balloon because it's time for convocation.
