Minato and Wataru met in high school and became best friends through their shared hobby of photography. They entered university together, lived together, and spent four precious years. However, Minato got a job in Hokkaido, and the two parted ways to live separate lives. Three years later, Minato suddenly calls, and the two meet again. They talk endlessly, just like old times. On the way home, Minato proposes to Wataru, "Let's live together." And so, the time that had stopped for the two of them begins to move again...

Wataru brushes off Minato's sudden proposal to "live together" as a joke when they meet again after so long, though he can't hide his inner turmoil. Meanwhile, Minato reminisces about their high school days together while talking with his grandfather about cameras. They decide to gather with old high school friends to celebrate Minato's promotion. Wataru asks the photo studio manager for gift suggestions and ends up buying the exact same flowers Minato gave him back in college...

Wataru began to gradually confront his own feelings, but as he recalled his past with his ex-girlfriend, he pondered the difficulties of romance. Then, reminiscing about the trip to Hokkaido he took with Minato, he realized he wanted to cherish his relationship with Minato as best friends rather than lovers. One night, while taking a walk with Minato for the first time in a while, Minato once again brings up the idea of moving in together. But Wataru refuses even more firmly than last time, explaining his reasons... With just one sentence from Wataru, their relationship changes once more.

Wataru confesses his feelings to Minato, but in truth, he fears that becoming lovers would end their most precious friendship. The two attend a barbecue party with friends from high school, and Wataru tries to treat Minato normally, though his mind is in turmoil. The next day, they participate in a photo shoot for their old high school photography club. On their way home, they promise to visit the beach where they shared memories, but once again, Wataru puts Minato in an awkward position.

Wataru couldn't refuse Minato's request to stay the night at his place. Though uneasy, he was also excited at the thought of wandering around with Minato, camera in hand. As they took photos, laughed, and chatted, Wataru felt at ease spending time with Minato, who remained just as affectionate as in high school. Looking at Minato through the camera lens, he silently confessed his feelings. What would become of his overflowing affection for Minato?

Wataru finally enters Minato's house. Their mundane conversations are just like before, yet Minato's casual words and actions make Wataru's heart race. As they look at old photos, a picture of the empty house taken the day they parted catches his eye. Minato says he wants to live together again, but Wataru tries to keep his distance, saying it would be nice if it were as comfortable and enjoyable as their college days. Yet Wataru's heart wavers, and Minato quietly asks, “Can I kiss you?”

The morning after staying at Minato's place. While Wataru finds himself consciously thinking about the kiss from the night before, Minato is as usual, to the point of being deflatingly normal. Wataru is flustered by this stark difference in temperature. Minato says he has something he wants to do and takes Wataru to meet Shio, who works at a real estate company. Minato had asked Shio beforehand to look for a place, and Shio introduced them to a house suitable for the two of them to live in. Caught off guard by this unexpected turn of events, Wataru's suppressed feelings for Minato suddenly overflowed.

Wataru receives a message from Minato saying she wants to talk, but he hasn’t yet sorted out his feelings. Minato goes to the photo studio where Wataru works and, urged on by the manager, enters the studio where Wataru is. A tense atmosphere hangs between them, and Wataru suggests they talk while he takes some photos. As they take the photos, the two return to the way things were before they drifted apart. Just before pressing the shutter for the final shot, Minato begins to express her feelings for Wataru…

Two weeks have passed since Minato told him, “I can’t stop thinking about how much I like you whenever I see you.” Wataru is shocked to learn from someone else that Minato’s grandfather has been hospitalized. Meanwhile, Minato tells herself that Wataru is just a friend, and she throws the lisianthus she couldn’t bring herself to give him into the trash, along with her feelings for him. Contrary to their intentions, however, a developed photograph reveals Minato holding the lisianthus in her hand, hidden behind her back…
