Brake ONE

Roman claims yet another victory at the season-opening Grand Prix, while Seowon finishes in second place. Seowon ends his interview with a perfect smile, though he is seething inside. During the podium interview that follows, Roman suddenly announces his retirement. Believing he can only earn true recognition by defeating Roman while he is still an active racer, Seowon punches him in the parking lot, revealing his true nature for the first time. Even after taking the hit, Roman only smiles, intrigued by the real face hidden beneath the “Prince” persona.

EP.01 LOSER

After his bedridden mother asks him to become a champion he can be proud of, Seowon resolves to bring Roman back to the track at any cost. At a party where he has gone looking for Roman, Seowon is being mocked by Diego when Roman suddenly appears and strikes Diego with a liquor bottle to protect him. Later, in the garden, Roman tests Seowon by bringing up the assault in the parking lot. Seowon demands that Roman return to racing and willingly drops to his knees before him, silently vowing to repay this humiliation someday.

EP.02 Deal

While Seowon grows increasingly anxious over Roman, who disappeared without giving him a definite answer, Roman suddenly shows up in the middle of an interview and drops a bombshell: “I came back because of him.” After winning his comeback race, Roman whispers to Seowon on the podium about their 11 p.m. rendezvous. Inside a red convertible, the two share their first kiss. However, Seowon lays down a condition: Roman will only be allowed to take things one step further each time he competes in a Grand Prix. Seowon then gets out of the car, unaware that Diego has witnessed the entire scene.

EP.03 Next

Roman’s comeback and provocative remarks thrust the two into the spotlight as the “rivalry of the century.” Seowon immediately turns the attention into publicity for his team, and at a sponsor event, he skillfully plays along with Roman’s spontaneous provocation, turning the occasion into a major success. Roman finds himself increasingly drawn to Seowon, who proves even better at using the very game Roman set in motion to his own advantage.
