A caregiver mother receives a request from her daughter to lend a large sum. However, the mother, whose only possession is an old house, lacks the means to help. When getting a loan in her mother’s name becomes difficult, the daughter moves into her mother's house with her partner, leading to an uncomfortable cohabitation. The mother tries to focus on caring for the elderly residents at the nursing home, but as she sees an elderly resident growing old and lonely, she begins to see reflections of herself and her daughter in her.
