My Strawberry Film

Ryo, Hikaru, and Chika, all in their second year of high school, go about their seemingly peaceful school lives while secretly harboring unspoken emotions.
One day, Hikaru and Chika stumble upon an old 8mm film in a dusty storage room on campus.
Mesmerized by the beautiful girl projected through the film projector, Hikaru ropes Ryo and Chika into investigating her identity within the school…

EP.1

After listening to the music Ryo composed, Chika suggests using it as the soundtrack for the film footage and spreading it to help find the mysterious girl.
For a brief moment, Chika enjoys spending time alone with Ryo.
However, on her way home after finishing her club activities one night, she secretly catches a glimpse of Ryo and Hikaru bathed in the moonlight inside the storage room…

EP.2

The girl from the film, Minami, suddenly appears as a transfer student before Ryo, Hikaru, and Chika.
Curious about her reaction, the three take Minami to the storage room and play the footage.
Hikaru excitedly tells Ryo about going to a café near school with Minami, but Ryo’s feelings remain complicated…

EP.3

Ryo and Hikaru first met in their first year of high school.
The staircase in front of the closed-off rooftop became their secret hideout.
Though Ryo was someone who easily built walls between himself and others, he opened his heart only to Hikaru, who approached him without hesitation.
However, with Minami’s arrival, Ryo’s heart begins to waver.
Despite knowing Ryo’s feelings, Chika continues to support Hikaru’s love…

EP.4

On a holiday, Ryo, Hikaru, Minami, and Chika go on an outing.
As Hikaru joyfully films Minami at the beach in the same composition as the footage from the film,
Ryo watches with a sorrowful gaze.
Chika, noticing Ryo’s expression, feels a quiet ache in her heart.
The emotions of the four, tangled and unspoken, feel even lonelier than the winter sea…

EP.5

After the holiday, in the classroom, Ryo hesitates to speak to Chika, who is resting her head on her desk.
Observing the two, Minami finally reveals the truth to Ryo in the storage room after school.
Meanwhile, Hikaru, unaware of everything, visits the café again with Minami to share a strawberry parfait…

EP.6

For the first time, Hikaru realizes Ryo’s true feelings and recalls their first meeting.
Ryo’s unwavering love for music made him shine in Hikaru’s eyes, who easily lost interest in things.
Minami, watching Chika worry about how their friendship has changed after discovering the film,
feels a growing turmoil in her own heart…

EP.7

After receiving an anonymous SNS message, Ryo, Hikaru, Minami, and Chika gather in the storage room at night—along with their teacher, Matsuoka.
As an unfamiliar film begins to play, time passes, and at last, the truth is revealed.
A fleeting yet dazzling final chapter.
